Fall '16 Meeting #6

And it's Sunday again! Some new members stopped by today. Pretty good meeting. Changed rooms.

Rex who's been searching for fellow Gunpla enthusiasts on campus finally found out there was a club for it! Congrats!

This weeks kit was the NG 1/100 Barbatos 6th Form! (My choice!) George pre-assembled the frame of the Gundam prior to the meeting. Jayson, George, Jeffery, and Rex all gave in some effort and was able to finish the kit before the end of the meeting.

And here is the finished kit. Nothing much to say. It has a frame that itself is like the complexity of a HG kit. Then the armor just slaps on like perhaps a Frame-Arms? Of Course, no stickers :D

James came over for his first time and brought a bunch of his backlog to share with us!

Very nice HGUC selection. No shame "Davis Hobby Club" written on the board.

George brought the RE/100 MKIII we built last week for display.

We had it outside displayed on a table at first so that people who walked by would know our meeting room.

And Jayson brought his RE/100 GP04 from two weeks ago for display.

And here is all the kits displayed together! (I use sanding files cause I'm lazy...)

James came by to drop off some purchases from Tatsu Hobby in San Jose! Here is Converge #132.

And also, the P-Bandai HG Gundam Barbatos "All-Forms" kit? Cool box-art!

And the Converge and Gundam Barbatos goes into my computer!

And no, my computer does not get hot enough to melt the Gunpa/plastic.

And that summarizes this week's meeting! Since we don't have a kit planned for the next meeting build, I think we will be talking about this quarter's group order next week. Come by if you want to order anything! See you guys next time!
